Former entrance sign of 13 Brigade, Australian Army from the Stubbs Terrace entrance to Irwin Barracks, Karrakatta. The design of a mailed fist dates to the 1950s and is no longer officially used.

On a blue background enclosed within a green heater shaped shield outlined in silver is an embowed arm in chain mail holding a dagger, sitting on a torse of red white and blue over the nummeral 13 in red. Heraldically more technically "on a torse gules, argent and azure, an armed arm ambowed hoding a dagger, all proper"
