Property of HS (Harry) Whittington, 'Springhill', Brookton, Western Australia, Australia - 105

1968
Overview

Avon Location 5781. Looking at the paddock from the upper slope near the same position as the photograph taken in 1955. The erosion gullies have disappeared, trees, pastures and cereal crops are flourishing. The once naked and bared rocks have been covered by vegetation and the banks are almost covered too. The land is useful and productive again. The crops and pastures are all of a good quality. A very different outlook.
