PHOTOGRAPH: HOUSE AT 174 SUBIACO ROAD, SUBIACO (OWNED BY MR LAWRENCE)
1971The colour photograph shows a brick house with red painted corrugated iron roof. There are stone quoins and two tall chimneys. There are scalloped bargeboards and a bull-nosed front verandah supported by white posts. An ornamental urn is in the niche on the gable. The front fence is of timber posts and rails and cyclone. A tall creeper is growing in front of the verandah and a canvas/timber chair is at the right of the verandah. This was the first brick house built in Subiaco Road. The owner was a local builder - Mr Lawrence.
