1924Copy of sepia photograph of John Francis Sweeney. Known as Frank, driver and part-owner of the Federal truck which has CARRIER * FRANK SWEENEY * SUBIACO, and FEDERAL TRUCK CHASSIS painted on the side of the tray. The driver wears a hat, waistcoat and heavy apron. The registration number of the truck is 3642. It is carrying a large concrete pipe. Partly visible behind the truck is a draught horse. The photograph was taken on Mounts Bay Road. Small deciduous street trees are growing on the verge. The light on a pole at the roadside is a signal light for trams. Tram lines are seen on the road.
