Restored by Mr Bruce Richardson Box was removed from a wall of Merredin Hospital during renovationsin 1990. Believed to be a collection box tho few coins , Imperial or decimal will fit thro the opening slot .Base is detatchable ,2 screws .This could date back to opening of the first brick buildings in 1936 or even the earlier wooden hospital 1920
