Peter Harper

Contextual Information

Peter Harper was born in the United Kingdom in 1934 and migrated to Perth in 1966. His work has been exhibited widely and reproduced in a number of publications. Harper sketched a number of Subiaco shops and houses, with many of these works being published in the 'Subiaco Post' newspaper. The City of Subiaco has acquired 28 of Harper's sketches, made between 1979 and 2008, for its Art Collection.
