A British General Electric 1944 diary used for 1945.

Historical information

Hazel Masterson (1929-2013) later married the future prime minister, Bob Hawke. The diary includes a long entry describing Hazel's celebrations after the announcement of the Japanese surrender while at a dance on 10 August 1945.
