Funerary and biographical information of the deceased featured as well as an extensive list of names of 'chief mourners' including 'Mrs. Shirley White and Mrs. S. Osborne (daughters)', 'Mr. Shirley White (son-in-law)' and a number of other members of the White family.
Williams was born in Launceston, Tasmania, was formerly an engineer of the Golden Horseshow mine, Boulder, and had resided in Western Australia for the past 33 years up to his passing. He was 81 years old when he died and his funeral took place on a Monday afternoon, with the cortege moving from his late residence on Hector Street, Osborne Park, and proceeding to the Roman Catholic section of Karrakatta Cemetery where his remains were interred in the presence of a very large gathering.
