Property of LG Faulkner and Company, Ongerup, Western Australia, Australia
1984Surveyor's Report on WISALTS Soil Conservation System created by RH (Rod) Sawyer.
Comments: Small salt scald is a deep hole filled with sand fed by a sandy strip. Below salt scald clay comes to surface. It is envisaged that a drain be opened up through the clay to try and drain the scald area. The creek line starts some 6 to 7 miles away from property and carries a lot of water. Limited finance has led to use of grade lines which are basically at the bottom of a very large catchment area and before the end flattens out into the beginning of a very flat valley system with lakes and not many well defined waterways. All land under grade line has local flooding and becomes very wet. Point joins point A on plan drawn by K Vaux.
