PHOTOGRAPH (DIGITAL): COVID 19 MESSAGES OF HOPE, RAINBOW DRAWING, JUNE 2020
2020Digital colour photograph of a beige mailbox with a black street number '121' in large font with a large black slot for mail. The end of a folded paper can be seen just poking out of the mail slit. In the centre of the mailbox is a drawing of a rainbow on an orange piece of paper surrounded by three stars. Two clumps of blu-tack or a similar putty adhesive are placed on the mailbox above the top right and left corners of the drawing.
Images taken around Subiaco in 2020 to document the COVID-19 pandemic social distancing and hygiene requirements. Images include rainbows and teddies on roads which were created as a symbol of hope.
