Property of HS (Harry) Whittington, 'Springhill', Brookton, Western Australia, Australia - 100

1936
Overview

That once very fertile paddock in front of the home. The productivity of that soil has been lost. Land degradation is having its effect. Planting salt tolerant grasses to try and retain some cover on the ground. Note the dying trees in the Government Fresh Water Reserve in the background.
