UTENSIL: KITCHEN SAW WITH BOW SHAPED FRAME, LIPFERT FAMILY
Green wooden handle covers thin round metal rod which forms the rigid frame for the saw. It is attached by metal pins to both ends of blade. The blade has fine teeth and carries the name 'Spezial' (special) which indicates that it was made in Germany. Found in the Lipfert home at 270 York Street in the kitchen cutlery drawer. Presumably used as a meat saw.
