Overview

From 1977 until 1995, the Australian Army Museum of Western Australia was located in Dilhorn at the corner of Lord and Bulwer Streets in East Perth. These images show some of the exhibits presented during that occupancy.

Historical information

During its formative years at "Dilhorn" the museum commenced to assemble and display an extensive collection of items covering periods from Western Australia's Colonial Volunteer forces through to post-World War Two, including Korea and South Vietnam. It focussed on all aspects of Army service including not only wartime service but also peacetime service with militia and reserve forces.
