HELMET WORLD WAR TWO
c. 1940Helmet, metal, wooden, cotton, paint, elastic.
Metal is slightly chipped from rusting in parts. Lining is worn around edges. Protective helmet from World War Two. Dark green in colour. Wooden cross-shaped protective block is placed within crown, and an oil linning is supported by small blocks in crown. Khaki chin strap has metal clasp, and strap is attached by cloth -covered elastic to helmet.
