HELMET WORLD WAR TWO
c. 1940Metal is slightly chipped from rusting in parts. Lining is worn around edges. Protective helmet from World War Two. Dark green in colour. Wooden cross-shaped protective block is placed within crown, and an oil linning is supported by small blocks in crown. Khaki chin strap has metal clasp, and strap is attached by cloth -covered elastic to helmet.
