1918Grave in German cemetery of 79736 Private W Malthouse, died as Prisoner of War 6 December 1919
Private Malthouse was a member of the Australian Military and Naval Expeditionary Force. He was bound for Rabaul in the SS Matunga which was captured and sunk by the German commerce raider Wolf. He died in captivity after the Armistice.
