PHOTOGRAPH: SUBIACO COUNCIL BUILDING CIRCA 1968
From a collection of three coloured photographs that show different views of the Council Administrative building in Rokeby Road.
Building has a low flat roof, set back from the road and designed to be un-obtrusive. The original Municipal Council Chamber building, 1899, co-existed with the new building but was demolished in 1971, the area being made into a park with a plaque marking the location of the 70 year old building.
Image shows the front entrance of building, facing east.
The 1968 Council building underwent further extension and renovations that were opened in 1997. See wall plaque on outside of City of Subiaco Council Chamber and Administration building.
