This image won the second place prize in the FOCUS 2021 local history photo competition run by the City of Armadale. Its date of 1936 shows the Ye Olde Narrogin Inne only one year prior to its major renovation in 1937, which amounted to almost a complete tear-down and rebuild. The Inne was originally built in 1856 making it 80 years old when this image was taken; the image itself was 85 years old when it was entered into the competition.
