Comments: Object is to catch water off breakaway and divert it into dry dam, neighbours will use overflow for own dams. Soil type is deep red to black salmon gimlet of volcanic origin. Some more level banks will go in later if deemed necessary. Soil is gravelly type able to absorb lots of water if run off from breakaway is controlled.
