FOB WATCH: BRASS
Brass fob watch with white diamond shaped machined dial set in brass surround. Black Roman numerals and hands which are fixed at 6 o'clock. In red on dial is 'FIDO / LEVER' and beneath in black letters 'SWISS MADE'. There is an milled winder at the top within the brass oval handle. There is a small brass button on the left hand side of the case, possibly for an hour bell. The back is hinged and has a small groove near the top to open.
Item belong to donor's aunt Miss Eva Harriet Freeman Nonmus who arrived in Australia from England in 1890s.
According to the Donor, Auntie Eva came to Australia from England with her parents after World War One. Family moved to Subiaco when World War Two started. Father wanted to join up. Lived in Subiaco many years, at least 20.
