1915Informal outdoor portrait of 859 Sergeant Henry George Buswell MM. Killed in Action 22 July 1916
859 Henry George Buswell of Bunbury enlisted in 11 Battalion on 7 September 1914. He embarked with H Company from Fremantle on 2 November 1915 on HMAT A11 Ascanius. He landed at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915. Killed in action on 23 July 1916 and posthumously awarded the Military Medal. He has no known grave and is commemorated at the Villers Bretonneux Memorial.
