1988Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by PF (Peter) Woodward. Comments: Bank surveyed to join up with existing bank and pick up water coming off hill and cut off two gullies. Fill in bank over pipe to allow fresh water to enter from creek and water course where marked. Review Comments: These areas where the bank crosses a natural creek/waterway, which generally has a static adjoining the creek and is associated with a developing "barrier". It is a wise move to take a direct line straight across the weak or static zone by using a backhoe and the use of a plastic sheet to ensure a seal in the degraded soil. As the depression is crossed it may be necessary to raise the plastic above ground level.
