Contextual information

Harrington was a printer and began shooting in Victoria before moving to WA where he continued the sport at Kings Park Rifle Range [Edit: although this may be in doubt given the range closed in August 1895]. He later became a member of the Bunbury and Geraldton clubs. His grandson, Ron Harrington donated this item. Ron became a member of the South Perth Rifle Club in 1952, later moving to the small bore discipline.
Trove: He reported as being a Private in the volunteers at Bunbury in 1904.
