Western Australia, Australia - 137
The paddock has been burnt. One lonely bank on the horizon has no chance of protecting the long slope from surface rills and erosion in any medium rainfall event, let alone a thunderstorm or cyclone. Banks should be close to 3 metres in vertical height or no more than 0.2 of a kilometre in distance apart to be effective in surface and subsurface control.
