Overview

Copy of a black and white photograph of a family upon arrival in Fremantle. In the centre is a woman on the left in a dark dress with a label attached to the centre of her dress and holding a lighter coloured coat over her right arm. On the right is a man wearing a suit, with jacket undone, and a hat. He also has a label attached to his jacket and has a cigarette in his left hand. Between them is a teenage girl with dark hair, wearing a belted dress with round collar and long sleeves, and beaded necklace, and a label attached to the front In front are two children, the left one a girl sitting wearing a hat and dark jacket with label, skirt, and socks and sandals. She has her hands on her knees. A squatting boy on the right is wearing a coat, with a label on the LH lapel, white shirt and obviously shorts as he legs are bare. He has dark shows with no socks. There are cases and boxes between those standing behind and the children in front. In the background are groups of people all standing in front of a wall. The ground looks bare.
