On the left is Sargeant Oakes RAAMC (P) the RAP Sargeant in charge of the Barracks Hospital and on the right is Gunner F Hurst (nickname 'Hot Plate") who in addition to other duties was the relieving Cook and Battery Bugler. Gunner Hurst was a Drummer Boy
