Overview

Photograph: From Jolimont Historical Images Album 2, Don Gim
Image: A black and white photo of a year two/three class from Jolimont Primary, 1954. The children appear in an outdoor setting, arranged in four rows. The back row appears to be standing on an elevated platform, and consists of ten boys. The second to last row is made up of twelve boys and girls, standing on the ground. The second row consists of 11 children; nine girls are seated on what is presumed to be a bench, and two boys are kneeling at either end of the row. The front row is made up of nine boys, who are seated cross legged on the ground. Two boys at the centre of the front row are holding a small board that reads 'Jolimont II - III 1954'.
