Overview

Deep red gum sand over yellow conglomerate and clay need good moisture drift control to prevent valley floor degradation. The edge of the dam bank shows the subsoil type and the back of several banks show the topsoil sand. The subsoil seals well, but deeper throughflows of lateral movement need further treatment with clay or plastic. There are dykes in this area, but the main problem is deep throughflows.
