LEFROY Peter Bruce

Peter Lefroy inherited and improved a notable Merino stud, Cranmore, and gave a lifelong commitment of generous and imaginative leadership to the Western Australian wool industry. His contributions included the invention of a lamb cradle for mulesing, the establishment of Rural Traders Company, the marketing of unblended wool to overseas processors and the improvement of animal breeding facilities.
