1990Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by KL (Ken) Olden. Comments: (1) Level bank stopped short of static area on east side. This bank is not situated on barrier because of boundary. Throughflow has been traced into static thruss continuing up into neighbour. (2) Level bank. Overflow onto flat rocks approximately 30 centimetres under surface. Poor clay on outlet end. Bank (3) is in better clay on exit end. (3) Level bank — this bank is positioned on barriers. Also outlet onto sheet rock. (4) Level bank — has been surveyed and overflow passes across sheet rock. A grade line has been surveyed to edge of paddock (west). Static area on base will need plastic sheeting, depth across rock 50 centimetres. (5) Grade line — to take water to dam overflow onto good country. (6) Grade line — starts on shallow rock. Try and seal with plastic. The start of bank was lifted 30 centimetres until good clay has been encountered. Something to keep eye on. Discharge onto static flat 700 metres across flat area. Plastic sheeting across all static flat. (7) Top ridge — a lot of sheeting from this area.
