Overview

One of a series of black and white photograph from the Humes' photo album labelled 'State Office and Projects Album'.
Black and white photograph of the steel division drawing office interior. (in back extension). Rows of lights are seen on the ceiling. Desks are arranged in rows along the length of the office, and windows appear along both sides of the office. Glass walled offices are seen at the rear of the office. Typewriter, telephone and calculators are on desks.
Reverse: Written in pencil 'Western Australia (Perth)'

Historical information

Taken from a series of photographs in brown, fake leather covered photo album with strip stamped with 'gold' classical type motifs on right hand side of cover. Blue plastic tape stuck to top with 'State Office and Projects' in raised white lettering.
