Hoover Model 612 Vacumm Cleaner
Upright free-standing vacuum. The base of the vacuum is a light brown colour with a dark brown trim around the edge of the bottom, there is a smaller dark brown, square compartment on top of the vacuum base which connects to a long brown handle. The top of the handle has a white plastic end, and the vacuum's power cord is wound around two hooks attached to the handle. Attached to the base of the vacuum is a blue patterned bag with the words 'VACUUM CLEANER' written in white, the top reaches up to the handle and is attached with a horizontal brown bar.
It belonged to the donor's grandmother in Glasgow, Scotland. When she died it was given to the donor's dad. He restored it to working order and brought it out to Australia in 1995. It was used until 10 years (2011) ago. It was given to the donor by her mum and dad.
