SPECTACLES: GLASSES, METAL RIMS
1916 - 1938Small steel framed oval spectacles with arms that curl around the wearers ears. The nose piece is a simple piece of steel formed to go over the nose and attached to the eye pieces.The lenses are bevelled.
Glass came in black lather case.
Small metal spring closing spectacle case - outside is covered in black embossed fabric and inside lined with purple velvet. The outside is worn on both the opening edge and the hinged edge and all corners.. On the bottom in gold print is 'G.F. Fraser / JEWELLER / and OPTICIAN / ROKEBY RD SUBIACO'. The inside bears a small round sticker with '$40' written on it.
