plate was on the door of first MERREDIN WOMENS REST CENTRE early 1930s . Site was in Barrack St approx imately where Telecom tower now stands .A Mrs Leuy had a small business nearby & had keys to the Rest centre ,for which she cared .Information given by Nell Breeze
