Overview

Six of the original boardroom chairs used by the Carnamah District Road Board from the 1920s at their offices at 9 Macpherson Street in Carnamah and later at the Shire of Carnamah's council chambers at 33-37 Macpherson Street in Carnamah. Seven chairs were donated to the Carnamah Historical Society & Museum in 2016. The historical society retained one of the chairs for their museum collection and donated the other six to the North Midlands Project for use at The Bank Gallery.
