Property of G (Glen) Belli, Ravensthorpe, Western Australia, Australia - 002
1983Surveyor's Report on WISALTS Soil Conservation System created by RT (Rob) Stone.
Comments: Bank (B) has been constructed. Bank (A) will be last bank to do. Bank (C), (D) and (E) to be constructed as soon as possible. This hill sheds a big percentage of rain. Has tight clay on surface.
Review Comments: The plan is a very sound one and provided there are no sand seams encountered, it should improve the production of the area. Depth to impermeable strata? I am questioning the starting points of (A) and (B). Wouldn't they have served a purpose if they had been extended to the boundary of the paddock. (B) of course may have run into the ridge as its position is governed by the dam - What happens to the overflow from the dam?
