Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by I (Ian) Gilmour and S (Stuart) Barr. Comments: To control water for increased production. Overload excess into exiting dam on eastern end. All vehicle passes in top banks are 'B' type, i.e. stop-start. Bottom bank 'A' type, i.e. flyover. When shallow rock is encountered use as vehicle pass. Dam has leak in back wall and needs to be repaired. Soil is shedding about 70 per cent, mostly mallee country. Depth at banks 0.8 metre to 1.1 metres.
