Property of BJ (Crash) and BE (Beryl) Edwards, 'Brooklands Park', Kweda, Western Australia, Australia - 033
1988Surveyor's Report on WISALTS Soil Conservation System created by BJ (Crash) Edwards.
Avon Location 21225.
Comments: Banks numbers 1 to 8 were put in at 2.5 to 3 metre fall intervals in 1980 to 1982. They are a mix of level and grade banks. The Edwards area of the map is 570 hectares. The total area on the south west side of the main valley is now completed and is working very well. It is intended now to systematically work on the north east side of the main valley. There is no salt in this area at present although the main valley has a considerable problem 1 to 2 kilometres downstream from the Edwards / O'Meagher boundary. There is no prospect of more work this year as it is getting too wet for the dozer. All level banks overflow into the main valley where it is fenced in on both sides and planted with trees (10 to 12 years).
