Historical information

Shaun Tan Awards finalist, 2008.

Artist's Statement: The inspiration for this drawing came from my dream. In my vision there were separated twins who were lost in the middle of an industrial setting, where plants and trees do not grow anymore and apocalypse signs are coming as a warning. Influenced by Shaun Tan, I used earthy colours to emphasise Shaun Tan’s style.

Ardian was a student at All Saints College at the time of creating this artwork.
