Postcard showing soldier patients standing on a wooden platform in a corridor, under a corrugated iron roof at the No. 1 Australian Auxiliary Hospital in Harefield, England. The bottom left corner has the text 'The Long Ramp' and a blue cross has been drawn on the left side of the image marking a building.

Reverse: Written in black pen is the hospital's address and date 'June 20th 1918.'

Text: 'Dear Pearl, Just a line or two, let you know how things are going over this way. ..? from ..? ..? The lead ..? & I doing as good as good be its been raining cats & dogs here these.'

This postcard has come from the postcard and photograph album number one (2004.47) from Thelma Green. The images were removed in 2025, scanned and rehoused in two A4 lever arch files for conservation reason.
