Overview

Two paired objects, one in blue and the other in pink, made from wood, oil paint, graphite, and wax. The first, named "Stories from the Indies X, Older Guardian" (pink), measures 184.5 x 73 x 32cm, while its counterpart, "Stories from the Indies IX, Younger Guardian Madonna" (blue), measures 192 x 70 x 290cm.

Historical information

These sculptures were produced by the artist and her father in Bali and Perth. They were later exhibited for the Festival of Perth exhibition Dreams at Fremantle Arts Centre in 1992.
