Catalogue and Exhibition Notes - Boan Brothers Employees Honour Roll - World War 1
Catalogue and exhibit notes prepared for the Boan Brothers Employees World War 1 Honour Roll as part of a series of events at the Australian Army Museum of Western Australia to commemorate the centenary of World War 1. The Boan Brothers and the national Australia Bank Honour Boards were featured in August 2014.
The Boan’s Honour Board for World War 1 records the names of members of Boan’s staff who volunteered for service between 1914 and 1918. Of the 98 men on this Board, 15 died, 18 received wounds and one was reported missing in action.

Details
The original hand painted list of names from the Honour Roll were replaced with machine cut vinyl lettering during the restoration of the Roll. These have been retained in storage.
The Boan Brothers World War 1 Honour Roll is featured in the orientation (Entrance) Gallery at the Australian Army museum of western Australia. This catalogue with list of those honoured on the Board is presented as a looped video adjacent to the Board itself. Supplementary volumes with service details are also available for reference.
