Old Quairading School Oval, Quairading, Western Australia, Australia

Overview

First signs of salinity. The area between the shadows and the small York gum tree has a patchy covering of barley grass. This extends from the bitumen road on the left to a "barrier" in the valley floor, a hundred metres to the right. The cause of this degradation comes from two toilet drains and four other farm throughflows. It is also the flood water channel through the town.
