Mrs Vera Harrison was interviewed by Donna Moore on 4 May 1984.
Born 1903, in 1910 moved to 47 Rosebury Street. Recalls Catherine Street Dance Hall, 'The Shelter Shed', Regal Theatre and Gardens, 1927 West Subiaco, Montief's House and factory, Grundonan airstrip, Lime Kilns, Methodist Church, Shenton Park; Emu and West Subiaco buses, home medicine, influenza epidemic, diptheria hospital, Coolgardie Street hospital. Early Shenton Park, first car, trams, Hiawatha Club, Church Clubs
