Overview

Ink and water colour drawing done in 1995 by Marion Prowse of the Main Street of Darkan Drawing done on white paper which is mounted on black cardboard which is insect damaged on the edges. Drawing is done from a photograph taken in 1912 of the main street and is annotated with the buildings - Balcksmiths shop, Wormalds Bakery, Darkan Trading company and Post Office, Nordstroms boarding house an ddining room, Charles Frederick Browns store, Elders Shenton's agency shed and Darkan Hotel.
