Oral history with farm consultant, Bob Hall

Historical information

Mr Robert (Bob) Hall OAM has been a farm consultant in the region for the past 54 years. He first came to Darkan in 1966 from England with his young family. The consultancy position for the Darkan Farm Management Advisory Service was advertised in the UK and Bob was the successful candidate. At the time of the interview Bob was still actively consulting albeit in a semi-retired capacity.
When Bob arrived in Darkan there was no power or water connected and no sealed roads, all of which was quite a change from life in England. His young family had to adapt to living in the area but soon came to feel at home.
