Postcard showing a landscape scene described on the bottom left as 'The River Wey Guildford.'

Reverse: Written in black pen 'Guildford. 27.8.17' with text 'Dear Mr Gordon, just a card as promised. This really is a pretty place. I am sure you would like this river, We return home tomorrow evening or Wed. morning, have not quite decided. [?] sincerely' with four initials.

This postcard has come from the postcard and photograph album number one (2004.47) from Thelma Green. The images were removed in 2025, scanned and rehoused in two A4 lever arch files for conservation reason.
