Overview

Aerial view of an area controlled with use of Interceptor banks during 1976. Where the banks were installed first, in an area of low production, leached and waterlogged areas. Over the years the effects of leaching and waterlogging have disappeared. Crops and pastures are now uniform. This image is part of the WISALTS (Whittington Interceptor Sustainable Agriculture Land Treatment Society Incorporated) Collection.
