Surveyor's Report on WISALTS Soil Conservation System created by JD (Jim) McGregor. Comments: Small area of seeping salt scald below yates. Site is 2/3 way down a long hill with fairly deep sand in the bush left standing, the ironstone ridge restricted water movement downslope. Reasonably fresh water keeping the area "a" damp and killing off the trees. My aim has been to drain the water away form the wet spot and eventually through T Kelly's system.
