J. Adshead born 1-9-1900, came from Stockport England in his teens with his family .Joined Army at 16yrs of age Met & married ---McClellard atKellerberrin .Moved to Northamabout 1929 .Became close friends of the Morrells during yeas spent working at Northam Engineering works .Moved to Merredin in 1960 &took over the Merredin Newsagency
