Colour photograph of a kiln at the Australian Fine China factory. The kiln is constructed of red brick, and has a white plaque at its centre that reads 'KILN No. 2', 'Year 1950' in red lettering. A yellow metal ladder can be seen to the left of the image leading up to a landing above.

Historical information

There are 4 of these tunnel kilns. Railway tracks lead through them for trolleys loaded with unfired china to pass along.
